Supported apps
Every app Sifa reads activity from, and why some of what you do on them never reaches your profile.
Sifa reads your activity from the apps below. You do not connect any of them: your records live with your DID, so using an app is all it takes. Start using one and it appears on your profile on its own.
57 apps, grouped by the category they appear under on your profile.

Why your app might not be here
The Atmosphere grows faster than any one list. Your records stay safe on your provider even when Sifa omits the app. Sifa does not recognise those records yet, so it renders none of them.
A new app is usually a small change. Tell us at sifa.id/feedback. Give the name of the app and its lexicon namespace.
Why some of your activity never appears, even from a listed app
Being on this list means Sifa reads the app, not that everything you do there reaches your profile. Two filters apply.
We show what you made, not what you did. Posts, articles, photos, repositories, reviews and merged pull requests are work. Likes, follows, reposts and RSVPs are taps. The second kind stays off your profile so the page reads as a record of work. The full split is on the activity feed page.
Configuration records never appear. Sifa hides preferences, moderation lists, block lists and similar records on every surface. They stay yours and stay on your provider. They are not activity.
One consequence is worth knowing. An app on this list can still show nothing on your profile. That happens when both filters catch everything you did there.
Sources that are not on the Atmosphere
These sources write no records to your provider. You add and verify each one once. After that they behave like the apps above.
| Source | What Sifa reads | Setup |
|---|---|---|
| GitHub | Merged pull requests you authored, in public repositories | Connect a GitHub account |
| Fediverse | Your public posts from Mastodon, GoToSocial, Pleroma, Pixelfed | Connect a Fediverse account |
| ORCID | Your academic publications | External accounts |
| RSS, Substack, personal site | Items from the feed | External accounts |
Sifa renders every other link, such as LinkedIn or YouTube or any URL, as a plain link on your profile. Sifa never polls those links.
